The focus is on practice and you will gain a number of essential legal skills by performing realistic transaction-based tasks. You apply for most postgraduate courses via our online application form. You must carefully complete the form and provide a detailed personal statement that reflects your suitability and relevance to the program. The course does not follow the standard academic calendar and runs from early September to June with only two weeks of holidays at Christmas and two weeks at Easter/spring break. The part-time course is offered in day or evening mode. You will visit all day on Tuesday of year 1 and all day on Wednesday of year 2 or Tuesday and Wednesday evening of both years. This module offers students the opportunity to develop a thorough and critical understanding of the skills that underpin legal practice at a professional level. The documentation includes samples of official copies, transfers, mortgage deeds, etc. Students must demonstrate their understanding at seminars by writing reports and letters of advice. This module will develop students` critical understanding of equity, trusts, estate and wills, and administration.
